🌀 Curly Synthetic Wig Maintenance Guide
Synthetic curly units require specific care to prevent frizz. Follow these steps to keep your curls fresh:
1. Detangling (Never Use a Standard Brush!)
Never use a fine-tooth comb or standard hairbrush on synthetic curls, as this will cause the fibres to frizz and unravel.
Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to gently separate the curls.
Always start at the ends of the hair and work your way up to the cap to prevent shedding and knotting.
2. Washing the Curls
Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water (never hot water).
Mix in a tablespoon of dedicated synthetic wig shampoo.
Submerge the wig and let it soak for 5–10 minutes. Swirl it gently; do not rub or wring the hair.
Rinse thoroughly in clean, cold water.
3. Conditioning & Drying
Apply a synthetic wig conditioner or leave-in conditioning spray.
Gently blot the wig with a soft microfiber towel to remove excess water. Do not twist or wring.
Place the wig on a wig stand and allow it to air dry completely.
Do not use a hair dryer and do not brush it while wet. The factory spiral curls will automatically bounce back into place once the wig is fully dry!
4. Daily Refreshing & Storage
To tame frizz during daily wear, lightly mist the hair with water mixed with a small amount of fabric softener or synthetic leave-in conditioner. Scrunch the curls upward with your hands.
